goRo is live
goRo is running. Passengers can request a ride and watch it arrive, drivers receive requests and manage their work from their phone, and the operator sees the whole fleet live on one screen.
What works today
Rides are matched by real distance, not by which town somebody registered in. A passenger can choose a specific driver from the taxis nearby, or ask for whoever is closest. Drivers set their own working radius and decide for themselves whether to take a request from further out.
While a ride is running, both sides can message each other in the app without exchanging phone numbers, and the passenger watches the vehicle move on the map with a live arrival estimate.
What comes next
More cities. The platform was built so that opening one does not mean rebuilding anything — a city is configuration, not code. If you run a taxi business and want your drivers on it, the Business page is the place to start.
