From tap to arrival.
goRo takes the phone call, the waiting and the guesswork out of getting a taxi. Here is exactly what happens.
Open goRo
Open the app and choose where you want to go. goRo finds you on the map and names the street you are standing on.
Request your ride
Confirm your pickup and destination. Pick a driver from the taxis nearby, or let goRo offer the ride to the closest one.
Meet your driver
See the driver, the vehicle and the number plate, and watch the taxi approach in real time. Message them if you need to.
Arrive safely
Complete your ride and rate your experience. The trip stays in your history.
How a driver is found.
When you request a ride, goRo looks at where every on-duty taxi actually is at that moment — not where it last registered.
You can pick a specific driver from the list, or ask for the closest available taxi. In that case the request goes to drivers one at a time; the first to accept gets the ride. Nobody is forced to take a trip, and nobody is left holding a request they cannot serve.
If no driver accepts within two minutes, goRo cancels the request and tells you plainly, so you can try again rather than sit watching a spinner.
One ride, seen three ways.
The passenger sees
Where the taxi is, who is driving it, which car to look for, and how long until it arrives.
The driver sees
The pickup, the destination, the distance and the passenger — with navigation and a way to message them.
The operator sees
Every vehicle live on one map, every ride in progress, and the full history behind them.
